you've mixed spanish and italian, "mi" is spanish possessive adjective but "bambino" is an italian noun. it's the diminutive form of "bimbo" (niño in spanish) that means baby and it's masculine.
in spanish "my baby" is "mi niñito" (masc.) or "mi niñita" (fem.).
while the correct form in italian is "mio bambino"(masc.) / "mia bambina"(fem.)
