I think this is cute for a kid and cool for a teen. Can also shorten it to "Scoot". It's usually used for someone whose name is Scott, but I've seen it used for other names too.

My nickname is Scooter. I love it. It was an odd way of getting it. I was talking with a customer one day at my job & he said "oops" and another employee thought he called me scooter. So ever since that day everyone* calls me Scooter or Scoot. (: i lOVE IT!
haha my best friend lives on his scooter! ive tried to get him to get a bike but he is 100 percent against it there is no way he is giving it up. i dont know i think this would be perfect for him

i have a frenddd nick who lives in new jersey.
i used to hate his sister becuz she was dating my ex.
+ i started calling him hero becuz he cussed her out.
so he said i could be his scooter. (:
i kno' it's kind of a stupid story, but
now im extremely close with both of them.

lol, my dog's name is scout and we call her scooter sometimes..haha I think it's cute
